The Arab Orchestra of Nazareth was formed in 1990 by Mr. Suheil Radwan who acts as its director since its establishment.
Its goals are to encourage appreciation of Arab music, to strengthen awareness of classical Arab music, to encourage original local talents, and to promote concerts for the wider public.
The orchestra features the finest musicians and singers from Nazareth, Haifa, Acre and the Galilee specializing in classical Arab music.
The orchestra has played in festivals around the world - in France, Belgium, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, Israel and the Palestinian Authority and has performed, among others, with Moroccan/French singer Sapho, Israel's Zehava Ben and Rodio Darwish from Italy.
